As the captain of the Spokane Chinese Dance Group since 2015, I’m proud to share that over the past decade, we’ve delivered more than 300 performances at senior centers, nursing homes, educational institutions, libraries, and cultural fairs. Many of these venues invite us back regularly. For instance, we have been performing 4 to 5 Chinese dances for the 200+ residents at the Orchard Crest Assisted Living (https://www.orchardcrestretirement.com) every year since 2017 (except in 2021 and 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic). We performed 10 Chinese dances every week and 4 weeks in a row during the 2023 season of the Northwest Winterfest Lantern Festival (https://northwestwinterfest.com). At the Spokane Expo '74 50th Anniversary Celebration, we performed four times across various venues, receiving numerous compliments.
